I want to go to Italy. A few days in Rome, then rent a car and drive for 7 days: Florence (3 days), Venice (2 days), Rimini (2 days). Advise that you can see on the road and how best to go. What to see in the vicinity of these cities? What to see in the vicinity of Rome? I would like to see not only the universally recognized places, but also the patriarchal Italy

From the question clearly does not follow, but let's say that you need to return to Rome. The variant of the route that I would suggest for the swimming season is approximately the following.

First day. Perugia and Assisi. You can stop in the surrounding area, outside the city. If you prefer city hotels, then I recommend Perugia, in walking distance from the center, as in the evening in the old city life boils: Perugia is a large international university. In Assisi I recommend visiting not only the center of the old city, but also Eremo delle Carceri - it's easy on the car.

The second day . Morning-Siena . You can stop at night in Montecatini, where there are many hotels, and also active nightlife . Montecatini is a half an hour's drive from Florence and less than an hour from Pisa . This day I recommend not to cross the motorway but on the small roads of Tuscany . Autotravel along this zone is very beautiful, the mass of panoramic species and beautiful cities . The itinerary in Montecatini is better to choose through the small ancient mountains da San Gimignano and Volterra . San Gimignano sells good local white wine . in Volterra - the largest in Tuscany Museum of Torture .

third day. In the morning I recommend to go to Pisa and visit the Field of Miracles, where, in particular, there is the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. The second half of the day you can visit Florence, taste the famous Fierentina - a huge steak, which will be served in every good restaurant in Tuscany. Then again I recommend going back to Montecatini.

The fourth day. Morning - Florence, you can visit the Uffizi museum (museum site), but you need to take care to take turns early in the morning. You can take advantage of traveling by car and visit the panoramic site on the right bank of the river, from where you can see a view of the Old Town. In the afternoon - moving to Lido di Jesolo. This is a large beach resort near Venice.

The fifth day. In the morning you can sunbathe and swim, and closer to lunch, go to Venice. Boats run from Lido di Jesolo to the center of Venice. In the evening - return to Lido di Jesolo.

Sixth day. In the morning - sunbathing and buying, and then go to Rimini or a nearby resort. On the way you can visit the amusement park "Mirabilandia" (site of the park), where it will be interesting even for adults. If you find yourself in the park, visit the "Police School" show: in my opinion, this spectacular show is one of the best in the world. The presentation is based on high-end stunts on cars and motorcycles.

The seventh day. In the morning - swimming, then a trip to San Marino. From Rimini to go no more than an hour. You can also go from San Marino to San Leo. It is a castle-fortress, where Count Cagliostro served his last days in confinement. Also in half an hour from Rimini there is a fortress Gradara where it is possible to have supper, and where the panoramic views on Adriatic Riviera, and also mountain San Marino open.

Eighth day. In the morning - swimming, then road to Rome. I recommend you to choose a route through the Grotto Freassi (very beautiful and large caves), and also through the ancient city of Gubbio. In Gubbio you can take the funicular and enjoy the view of the surrounding area from a high panoramic site. Late in the evening you will be in Rome.

It turned out eight days. If you want to meet strictly in a week, then to your liking you can decide what to refuse and at the expense of what to compact the trip. This route is easily reformatted in the opposite direction: first the Adriatic, then Tuscany.

Important: It should be noted that on Mondays the museums in Italy are closed, and when visiting Florence, many would be interested to visit the Uffizi Gallery.
