The Statue of Liberty is on Liberty Island, about 3 km to the south-west from the southern tip of Manhattan. You can get there by a special ferry. Further, to climb to the observation deck, you will have to overcome 356 steps to the crown of the statue or 192 steps to the top of the pedestal. The crown offers a stunning view of the New York harbor.

Ferries to the statue depart from Battery Park and Liberty State Park in the New Jersey area. Entrance to the statue is free, for a ferry you have to pay $ 13 for an adult, $ 5 for children 4-12 years old
