The most replicated London symbol - the Tower Bridge - was opened in 1984. He is both a drawbridge and a hanging one. The design of the bridge is such that when the lower central span is divorced for the passage of ships, the upper gallery, which leads the stairs in both towers, remains open to pedestrians wishing to cross the Thames. However, today the gallery is used more often as a viewing platform and also equipped with a museum.

Views from the huge windows of the Tower Bridge bridge open and really exciting. In the west stretches the City with a recognizable skyscraper-cucumber (which will not get to tourists) and the brand-new The Shard with a viewing platform. And looking east, you can see the dome of the Greenwich Observatory and the Docks of St. Catherine

We reached the bridge on foot from London Bridge. It took about 15 minutes to complete. The Tower Bridge is surprising that it is located very low above the Thames water. At first it even seems that only boats and boats can pass under it. In fact, pass and the whole ships! To whom it is interesting, they can go into the wheelhouse of the lift and with their own eyes see the process of lifting the bridge. The bridge is very quickly bred, it takes only 5 minutes. The entrance to the bridge is for a fee. We bought the ticket over the Internet, which saved us a lot of time. And ... Read the full review

This is one of the symbols of London that you can not only admire from outside, but directly walk along it and take a picture of the Thames with the ships or the high-rises of the City of Town. It is from him to the Thames that tourists like to throw coins to return to London. Come best in the morning, until there are crowds of people. In the evening it is also very beautiful, especially when the highlight of the bridge itself, the Tower Fortress, but people in the evening, too many. Outside the bridge is impressive, but from the inside does not make an impression. There is ... Read full review

My loved one and I visited London this year. Honestly, there were many impressions and all different. This city has concentrated in itself a huge number of the most diverse sights, but there are those that simply can not be missed. Unfortunately Towersky bridge does not apply to them. We got to the bridge for a long time, until we reached it, then we were completely tired. The weather was unfavorable, even disgusting! Half an hour later we reached the Tower Bridge, but instead of a magnificent structure we saw ... Read full review

The Tower Bridge is a famous landmark of London, perhaps not as popular as the London Eye, but also worthy of respect and visitation. I went first to the Piccadilly Circus, took a ride on the London Eye, saw Big Ben, and then I reached the Tower Bridge. I did not know where he was, so I asked the police for directions, which are many in the city. They cordially prompted me the way, and I went on foot in the direction indicated. From Piccadilly Circus it is minutes ... Read full review
