The national currency of Switzerland is called the Swiss franc. Euros there are circulating only in popular tourist places, but delivery of visitors will be given in francs. They are considered to be the official currency of the Principality of Liechtenstein, although the EUR has become more widespread there.
According to the world standard ISO 4217 currency, the Swiss franc is denoted by the Latin letters CHF or the three-digit code 756.
One franc contains 100 rapenes (as they are called German and Romanshanski), 100 centimes (in French) or 100 chentizimo (in Italian). Rapins are issued in coins of 5, 10, 20, followed by coins of 0.5 francs, 1, 2, 5. Paper banknotes are 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 1000 francs.
