The ski resort of Ore consists of four villages - Duved, Tegefjall, Are By and Are Bjornen - and five ski areas: Duved, Tegefjall, Ope Are By, Are Bjornen and Rodkulle. All settlements are connected by bus routes. Regardless of the settlement, you can ski in the whole complex.
In Ore - the best in the North Europe system of lifts, 100 km of various ski slopes, a difference of heights of 900 meters (374-1274) and guaranteed snow from November to May. For its excellent technical characteristics it is often called the "Scandinavian Alps". At the same time, prices are lower here than in the Alps, and as an additional "bonus" skiers get the whole Scandinavian exotic, from trips on reindeer harnesses to the opportunity to taste freshly smoked salmon.
The ski season in Ora lasts from mid-November to mid-May, when most of the lifts operate.
The difference in heights is from 440 to 1420 meters, the green routes are 12, the blue is 39, 39 reds, 5 black ones and 5 virgin roads. The total capacity of the lifts is 47,000 people per hour, one gondola, one cabin, 6 chairlifts and 31 drag lifts, as well as one funicular. The price of "ski pass" for 6 days is 165 EUR, the cost of one individual lesson with an instructor is 60 EUR.

How to get to Ore
During the New Year and Christmas holidays from Moscow (Domodedovo airport) to Ostersund (Ostersund) is a direct charter. In the rest of the time, a regular flight to Stockholm can be made by SAS or Aeroflot, then by train to Ore (travel time is about 7 hours), or SAS domestic flight to Ostersund (flight time is about 1 hour) and then transfer to Ostersund - Ore (an hour on the road).

Regions of Ore resort
Ore-Bü is the center of the Ore ski resort, which is home to most hotels, shops, restaurants and entertainment.
In the village of Ore Bjernen, there is almost never a wind, since it is located in a hollow protected on all sides by mountains. It is always two or three degrees warmer than in other resort towns.
Duved is the second largest village in the Ore resort, located 10 km from its center. It is especially attractive for companies or families in which there are fans of snowboarding and at the same time experienced skiers, thrill-seekers on off-piste routes.
Tegefjell: this part of the Ore resort is good for young people and snowboarders, who are expected to have a great fan park, "unbroken" descents and the best snowboard instructors.

Buses
A special bus ("ski bus") serves five villages from 09:00 to 22:00. Opening hours: from the opening of the season on February 7 - 9: 00-15: 30, from February 8 to May 1 - 9: 00-16: 30, from 2 to 5 May and from 9 to 12 May - 9: 00- 15:00.
Subscription to the ski lifts also entitles you to a free ski bus that runs between hotels and ski lifts during the day. In the evening, the travel to the "ski bus" is paid additionally (~ 10 SEK for a one-way trip).
Ore hotels
At the resort of Ore, many hotel rooms and apartments are called "mountain hotel", their standard, as a rule, can be equated to "three-star" hotels or below. Most of the resort's apartments are equipped with bunk beds. This saves the most space, heating and, accordingly, the cost of living.
Ore is good in that, wherever a tourist has settled, he will always be near the ski lifts and ski slopes, and all the entertainment will be near by. From 4:30 pm, in some hotels and restaurants, cute "gatherings" under the name "after ski" (apres-ski), when right in a ski suit you can come to the bar to listen to music, sing in chorus, dance, drink beer or something else . Prices for drinks during these hours are lower than usual. The Swedes say that the apres-ski tradition, which now exists in all ski resorts, went exactly from here.

Ski-pass
At all Ore lifts one common "ski pass" is valid.
Children under 7 years of age ride for free if they have a helmet. There is a "ski pass" for beginners, valid only on certain lifts in the villages of Ore Bjornen and Duved. Its price is about 30 EUR per day. The ticket for the lift is valid only with the personal signature of the skier.
Equipment rental
Skidakarna rental points, as well as repair and maintenance shops, are located next to the hotels and the largest ski lifts in sports stores.
Ski schools
For beginners, skating schools are organized and individual instructors are offered. Adult education (five lessons per hour and half) - 105 EUR per person. Individual lessons: 1 hour - 60 EUR (fee for each additional person is -150 SEK).
Entertainment, sightseeing and sightseeing Ore
