Currency of Sweden.
Responds to Information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
Sweden is a member of the European Union, which means that all financial transactions must take place in EUR. But in the state they do not hurry to change their national money on them: thanks to the high requirements of entry into the currency euro area, which allow to receive a delay. So the official currency of the country is still, since 1873, is the Swedish krona (krona, abbreviated kr). Its international letter code is SEK, the digital code is 752. 1 kroon consists of 100 ere (öre), issued in coins (1, 5, 10 kroons) and banknotes (20, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000 kroons).
Nevertheless, all over Sweden you can pay in EUR, although you will be given out in most of the country for national money. And the course is unlikely to please you. An exception would be the communes, where 2 currencies are officially used, and the prices are 2 prices, in EUR and kroons.
