Tell me, please, about the currency in Istanbul: is it possible to pay in a hotel, restaurant, taxi, minibus with dollars / euros? Or it is necessary to change to Turkish currency? If you need to change, then where is it better to do this?

Usually, dollars and EUR are accepted in all tourist places, including in a taxi. The only exception is entrance tickets to museums and other attractions for which it is necessary to pay only in national currency.

My advice is to exchange a small amount (50-70 USD) for Turkish lira in one of the banks. And pay by credit card in supermarkets or in dollars / euros in small shops and on excursions
