The islands of Phuket attract not only diving enthusiasts, but also tourists, whose blood "hunting for a change of places." You can feel like a real navigator, discover new places, sunbathe and swim in seclusion "worthy" Robinson, and in the evening return to comfort and civilization.

The islands of Ko Racha Yai and Ko Racha Noi

The twin islands of Ko Racha Yai and Ko Racha Noi are located 12 km south of Phuket and are known for excellent conditions for diving and snorkeling.

The white sandy beaches of Ko Racha Yai can be reached by boat or boat from the wharves of Chalong and Rawai. The journey by boat takes 45 minutes, on a boat from one and a half to three hours. Traveling around the island is best on foot, along roads winding among coconut palms, watching lazily grazing buffalo, or bypass the coast of the island by boat.

The beach here is relatively unpopulated, and you can dive at any time of the year and in any weather - in the bays of the island there is no excitement. There are two good restaurants on the island, as well as bungalows offering snacks and drinks on the beach.

Ko Racha Noi, located 10 kilometers from Ko-Racha-Yaya, rests on the basis of coral reefs, and therefore the shore here is more rocky. In the emerald waters of the island, on the assurances of connoisseurs, just great fishing. Diving here is more difficult to deal with, because the bottom is covered with huge granite boulders.

Naka-Yai and Naka-Noi islands

The island of Naka-Yai is not yet very much explored by tourists. The eastern part of the island is almost deserted, and on the western side there is a small village, but plans to turn the island into an exclusive resort town.

You can get to Naka-Yaya by hiring a boat on the east coast of Phuket. Also you can buy a one-day tour for diving enthusiasts. Most of the beaches of Naka-Yai are sandy and wide, and the views that open from its east coast are breathtaking. On the beach there are umbrellas and chaise lounges, as well as a snack.

The neighboring Naka-Noi is known as the "pearl island", here is a pearl growing farm, which is inevitably led by all the island's tourist routes.

Ko Yao Islands

Ko-Yao is a group of islands between Phuket and Krabi .Ferries leave here daily from the Bangrong wharf of the eastern coast of Phuket .The fare is 50 baht per hour .Ko Yao Noi, an island of 50 square kilometers, is mountainous in the center, and is surrounded by beaches on the east side and mangroves in the west .You can get here by boat .The main road encircles the whole island with a ring .The island can be traversed by tuk-tuk (it is especially convenient to climb the mountain in this way), but if you decide to stop here, it is better to hire a scooter for 200-300 baht per day .

From the entertainment Ko-Yao offers boat trips, cruises to neighboring islands. Near the beaches there are several good fish restaurants, there is internet access, several shops, including the new Seven-Eleven. Life on the island is quite traditional, so avoid as much as possible frank attire and drinking alcohol outside restaurants.

Ko-Yao-Yai is much larger than his neighbor Ko-Yao-Noi, but preserved in pristine beauty. There is practically no infrastructure on the island. On the rocks of the island you can find prehistoric drawings of ancient aborigines, many of which are several thousand years old.
