How to get to Andermatt
The path to paradise for the freeriders corner begins at the airport in Zurich. From there, trains run about every 10 minutes to the main railway stations of the city. One of them takes you to Zurich's Zürich Hauptbahnhof (abbreviated Zürich HB), where you change to the train going to the Göschenen stop. There you need to make another transfer to the train, which will take you to Andermatt. The whole trip takes 2 ¼ hours and costs 36.30 EUR in the second class and 60.50 EUR in the first. Unfortunately, you can not get to the resort without changing trains.
There is a slightly less popular route with tourists and therefore a less busy route with three transfers: from Zurich two stops to Art Goldau, Goldau in Arth-Goldau, Art-Goldau-Göschenen and Göschenen-Andermatt.
