In this village there is almost never a wind, since it is located in a hollow protected on all sides by mountains. Here it is always two or three degrees warmer than in other villages of the resort. Ore Bjernen is located six kilometers from the center of Ore, with which regular bus service is established. This place is perfectly suitable for families with children - there is a playground for children, as well as Bjernen's amusement park.

Ski runs are very interesting for beginners and skiers of the middle level, they are all in the forest. The lifts of the village are connected to the common for the Ora lift system.
There are lighted trails for flat skis (ten-, five- and two-kilometer), laid in the forest, where there is practically no wind.
Evening skiing in the resort: Tuesday, lift Hamreliften. Trails: 4 "blue", 4 "green" and 11 "red". The maximum height is Mulffjell Mountain, 1031 m

For children
In Ore Bjornen, the only kindergarten in the resort is open, where you can leave your child at the age of four (from 9:00 to 15:30, from Monday to Friday - during the hours of the lifts). English-speaking educators work here, special slopes and a springboard are built for children. Children's center and children's lifts are located in the pedestrian zone.
Also at the resort are open a children's and family area with light descents, places for games, barbecue and slides for sledding.
