National parks

The biological reserve of Sinharaja is a piece of a virgin forest untouched by man. Here grows a huge number of exotic plants. Some trees reach a height of 50 meters.

The Bundala National Park united under its canopy lagoons and sandbanks. Here there is a nesting place for 20,000 species of birds, and sea turtles derive their progeny.

The oldest and largest national park of Sri Lanka, Yalla will surprise visitors with huge populations of buffaloes, spotted deer, elephants, wild boars, monkeys and crocodiles, wild cats, flying squirrels and lizards. In the hotels of the park you can stay if you want for a couple of days.

In the town of Kozgody there are several farms for growing turtles, where five species of sea turtles are hatched.
