Cadiz - the capital of the province of the same name and one of the most ancient cities in Europe. Its wide sandy beaches, besides idle felting, are well suited for practicing water sports. The old town is small (but very interesting), you can get around it all in one day.

Entertainment, excursions and attractions of Cádiz
It is worthwhile to climb under the dome of the Cathedral, go to Alameda de Apodaca - a small park on the ocean with a beautiful observation deck, visit the San Antonio and Mina Square, the latter is an interesting Archeological Museum.
Also noteworthy is the Baroque church of San Felipe Neri (address: Calle Santa Inés, tel .: +34 (95) 621 16 12)
Separate pleasure - to walk along the fortress walls that separate the city from the sea. The Forts of San Sebastian and Santa Catalina are open to visitors. It is equally interesting to come to the city: the road goes along a narrow isthmus, from where you can clearly see the sea and the frightening towers of the port from both sides. The bus station is in the heart of the city, it is convenient to get to both the beaches and all major attractions.
Carnival of Cadiz is considered the third most colorful in all of Spain. As a rule, it falls on February, on the weekend before the Day of Repentance, so for these dates it is worth to book the hotel in advance.
Another colorful procession in Cadiz is Holy Week (Semana Santa, Holy Week).
