The Catalan Pyrenees are in the northern part of Spain and border on France, gradually merging with the Iberian ridges. The ancient city of Lleida is considered a local center for mountain tourism. On the shores of lakes and mountain rivers of the Catalan Pyrenees there is a large number of fishing campings and hotels, where they give lessons and equipment for hire. Region of the Catalan Pyrenees

The most famous resort of the Catalan Pyrenees is Baqueira-Beret, located in the eastern region of the Val de Aran valley (350 km from Barcelona). La Molina and Massella together form a combined ski area Alp-2500 (Alp 2500). Another resort in these mountains is Port del Comte.
