How to get to the city

By RENFE train or commuter train it is possible to get to the city quickly and cheaply. The train departs from the platform at the airport every 30 minutes from 6 am to 12 noon. The ticket can be bought here at the ticket office or in special vending machines for 3 Euros, avoiding the queue. The trip lasts about 25 minutes. The train makes three stops: Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gracia and Clot. From here almost all metro lines and bus routes diverge. Remember, there is no direct exit from Terminal No. 1, not a platform, you will have to make a small trip by a free bus.

There is an airport bus stop in front of each terminal, Aerobus, connecting the airport and the city center every 12 minutes. Buses run from 6:00 am to 1:00 am. The ticket will cost about 5 Euro. Like the train, the bus makes three stops: Plaça Espanya, Gran Via / Urgell, Plaça Universitat. At the airport in Barcelona were June 14 (the day of arrival) and June 28 (on the day of departure) in 2014. Upon arrival, passport control passed quickly and briefly waited for luggage. Everything is positive. The only thing that caught my eye was bad lighting in the baggage claim area and a frankly dirty transport tape. That is, even if the suitcase was kept relatively clean up to the tape, on it, it had every chance of becoming thoroughly dirty.
