Airport Madrid-Barajas (Aeropuerto de Madrid-Barajas) - the main international airport of the capital of Spain, built in 1928. At the moment, Madrid Barajas is the largest airport in the country. It is located 12 km north-east of the center of Madrid, includes four terminals.
Barajas Airport connects the Iberian Peninsula with the Canary Islands, European countries and Latin America. Every year Barajas misses about 45 million passengers. More than half of flights are served by the Spanish airline Iberia. Three flights are sent from Russia daily to Madrid. As a rule, all of them arrive at the T4S terminal.
Transport communication between terminals

Information for passengers
If you were taken to the terminal T4 or some other terminal from the plane, you should not have problems with getting the luggage. If you were brought to the terminal T4S, then the main thing is not to get confused. First of all you will need to pass the passport control zone in the basement, after which you will have to go up to the second floor, from where you can reach the terminal T4 on an underground electric train. How to get here
To get from the airport of Barajas to the center of Madrid, however, as well as from the capital of Spain back to the airport, there are several ways: metro, taxi, bus, suburban train. Metro
The business center of Madrid and the international airport of Barajas are connected by a line of 8 metro. From the station Nuevos Ministerios in a few minutes (an average of 12-15 minutes) you can reach the terminals T1, T2 and T3 (the penultimate line station) and to terminal T4 (last station). Please note that you will need to buy two tickets: one for 1, 50 EUR, and the other for 1 EUR (you need to select a special tariff for purchasing). Taxi

Suburban trains
Terminal T4 of Barajas Airport from the main railway station of the capital Atocha (Estación de Atocha) can be reached by train in 25 minutes. You can also take a suburban train along the route at the stops of Princepe Pio, Mendez Alvaro (bus station), Nuevos Ministerios, Chamartin (second railway station). Bus
It is most convenient to use the services of express buses, plying 24 hours (in the afternoon with an interval of 15 minutes, and at night - half an hour).
