How to get to Kirovsk
By plane
The nearest airport is in the city of Apatity. From the airport to Kirovsk you can take a bus with a transfer in Apatity or by taxi (the trip will cost about 500 rubles). Another airport is in Murmansk, from which you will need to get a taxi to the Murmansk bus station, and only then by bus from Murmansk to Kirovsk (the cost of the trip is 300 rubles.)

By train
Trains heading to Murmansk with a stop in Apatity come from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Velikiye Luk, Vologda and Minsk. In summer, you can get to Apatit by train from Simferopol, Astrakhan and Novorossiysk. From the railway station to Kirovsk you will take a bus number 131 or taxi (for 300-350 rubles.)

The city is easy to navigate by bus and minibus. The city center is small - it's easy to get around on foot for half an hour. On Lenin Avenue, opposite the post office is the main public transport stop, from which buses go to the ski lifts.

Slopes of Kirovsk
