In Maiminskoye is Manzherok lake, mineral springs Arzhan-Suu and karst Tavdin caves totaling about 30 . Ulagan district lies in the North- Chuysky range, along which a lot of hiking routes are laid . And in the Kosh-Agach district there is the well-known Chui highway, historically the main road connecting Russia and Mongolia .
