From the Yaroslavl Main railway station to Tolgsky monastery it is possible to reach by public transport: trolley bus №1 to the stop "Red Square", then transfer to bus number 21 or route taxi number 93 or number 96 to the stop "Pesochnoe", where to walk about 2 km.

In the summer, a river walk: from Yaroslavl pier to Tolga, river trams run.

Going to the monastery by car from Moscow, at the entrance in Yaroslavl, you must turn left (on the bypass road) and go to Uk ence to Vologda. At the exit to the Vologda route after the bridge there will be a pointer to the Tolgsky monastery (at the first traffic light to the left)
