The Moscow Theater, founded by Pyotr Fomenko in 1993, is one of the youngest and most talented theaters in modern Russia. The theater is very special, it answers the spirit of the times as well as the deep and thorough. The current troupe of the theater is composed of three generations of "fomenok" - graduates of the workshop Petra Fomenko in RATI (GITIS) - who decided to stay together. Fomenko is a special theater that is in keeping with the spirit of the times, but deep and thorough.

In January 2008 the theater moved to a specially constructed building on the Taras Shevchenko embankment. The whole interior of the new theater, the plan of the halls and the design of the scenes were performed according to the exact requirements of the master himself.
