It will be interesting for children to take part in the International Cucumber Festival, which is held in Suzdal every year in the middle of July in the Museum of Wooden Architecture. During the holiday, special performances of "Cucumber Podvorie" are held, children's performances, fairs, contests, games, tasting of dishes and drinks "cucumber menu". The museum is located at: Zarechnye slobody, ul. Pushkarskaya, and is open from 9:30 to 16:30 (interiors are open from May 10 until October 30.)

In addition to the cucumber festival, it will be interesting to visit the holidays that refer to the Slavic antiquity. In June, in Suzdal, they traditionally celebrate Rusal a week and the holiday of Ivan Kupala. Celebrations are accompanied by folk festivals with ancient rites, competitions for children and other fun.
