descendants of balloons in the epicenter of culture February 08, 2015

Were with a child in the museum on January 28, walked around the halls swallowing tears, and not admiring the expositions, many of the attendants asked the question what was the matter. And all thanks to the rudeness and contemptuous indifference of the administrators at the entrance, acting on the principle of "every gopher agronomist," We just went not from the main turnstile, and to the left of the main entrance through the halls with ancient stones, from there to the rest of the museum was impossible to get from behind the tight rope. I'm sure that this was not an accident, because people are forced to ... Read the whole review

excursion to the Hermitage January 19th, 2015

Nina
was here in January 2015
Was at the Hermitage in January 2015 .Very good museum .was in the museum several times, but this visit was remembered especially .The guide that served the band was amazing! I do not remember the name - but it's just super! famously told, the group went after her as "donkeys" for the shepherd .It was interesting to tell, the unusual manner of the story, the unknown facts, there is much to learn from her .I did not want to let her go, I did not feel tired, I was just shaken up by such a wonderful job! I can say that she was dressed in a dark green dress and absolutely without makeup, middle-aged .Health to her and creative success! umnichka .

how I did not get to the Hermitage January 10, 2015

Irina
was here in January 2015
The impression was created that the administration of the Hermitage deals only with pumping money from citizens. Having stood on January 7, 2015 in an eerie wind for 2 hours at the cash desk on the side where the organized groups run, I realized that they only respect money, not ordinary people. Buy a discount ticket is simply impossible. Us, pensioners, parents with children and just Russian citizens with a passport in their hands were kept on the street, saying that there were no places in the wardrobe. Nearby there were groups, citizens who bought a ticket for a full ... Read the whole review

not matching pictures and staff
who is leading these monsters
at the exit waited for the cloakroom attendant 20 minutes just left
museum content is wonderful

The legendary museum May 16, 2014

The Hermitage is a legendary museum. To come to St. Petersburg and not to visit the Hermitage is nonsense. We were ready to defend kilometer lines, only to get to the museum. But everything turned out all the easier.
Planning a trip to St. Petersburg, we purchased a "Guest Card", which on arrival we were taken to the hotel. But, unfortunately, on it we could get only free excursion service in the Hermitage. And you had to pay for the entrance. We decided to go to the museum not from the very morning, so as not to burn in the scorching sun. At 12 o'clock ... Read the whole review

Very sorry(((April 29, 2014

Hello, I can not help but write your comment, t .to.full of indignation! Today with children in order to prepare them for the lessons of the MHC, not in theory, but in practice, the more we live in such a conglomerate of culture and the Hermitage nearby, and there are people who are guides who do not quite understand that to give a lecture on the culture of France of the 18th century for adults and for children, especially adolescents, is a titanic work .NEEDED preparation and elementary understanding of the audience .Primordial arrogance, irritability and, as a consequence, loss of attention of the audience and as an end result, the kind of back of the guide who does not want to thank the children and their farewell is elementary to reply the same .URGENTLY !!!! I hope that only we are not lucky! By the way, the name of the guide Tsyganova or Tsygankov .Thank you for the spoiled impression of the French Rococo, neoclassicism in the compartment with Watteau, Boucher, Falcone and many others .

The Hermitage is a treasure of world culture December 02, 2013

I really love St. Petersburg, I think there is no more beautiful city. The city is famous throughout the world for its architecture, monuments, fountains, canals, bridges, especially many museums, but not one of them can not compare with the Hermitage. Its scale, majesty and a huge collection of collections of paintings, sculptures are amazing. I was in the Louvre, and I will say that the Hermitage is in no way inferior to this museum, only the turn is smaller. Tickets to the Hermitage are available to all. The price is not high, but for students, pensioners, schoolchildren ... Read full review

I always dreamed of visiting the Hermitage, and now my dream has finally come true! November 21, 2013

The Hermitage was always a place I longed to visit, but I managed to carry out my plan only last year. Impressions of visiting this marvelous place are fresh with me to this day, reviewing the photos taken at the Palace, I seem to see again these beautiful works of art and the most luxurious interiors.
It's no secret that the Hermitage presents such great works of art. As a Madonna and Child with a Raphael brush or Black Square by Malevich. Besides them ... Read the whole review

A trip to St. Petersburg can not do without visiting this museum. Usually, those who wish do not be scared even by kilometer lines at the cash register. We got to the museum without waiting. On Wednesday, the Hermitage works until 21:00. The ticket office closes at 20:30. It is possible to fully appreciate the painting and other immortal creations of great authors no more than four hours, it is checked. Therefore, if you come to the museum at five o'clock in the evening, you will not have to stand in any queue. Buy a ticket, presenting a passport (because for the citizens of Russia ... Hi there,
I visited my wonderful museum in the course of my 8 weeks in your beautiful St Petersburg.
I thoroughly enjoyed what I saw and am sorry. I did not see all.
I do not need to report to you "Gestapo type" action of one of your "dura" guards.
The first time I was picked up by our elderly minders. We collected our bag from the cloak room visited ... Read full review
