The state natural reserve Basseghi, discovered in 1982, is located on the slopes of the same mountain range of the Perm region on an area of ​​37 957 hectares. In the reserve grows more than 520 species of plants, including 45 endemic species, 51 species of mammals, more than 150 species of birds, 2 species of reptiles, 17 species of fish and 3 species of amphibians. Among the rare plants of the reserve there are species listed in the Red Data Book of the Middle Urals, as well as plants that are not found anywhere else in the world, except the Urals.

The most interesting for tourists are the so-called stone rivers, which are terraces with stone screes.

The reserve got its name from the Bassega Ridge stretching from the north to the south and being part of the Main Ural Range .The highest point of the reserve is the peak of Middle Bassega with a height of 994 meters .On the reserve territory there are 11 small rivers, among which are Usva and Vilva - the largest .The most interesting for tourists are the so-called stone rivers, which are terraces with stone screes .On the top of Basegov there are famous remnants - stone columns of weathering, which is of considerable scientific value .

The most visited places in the reserve are the Korostylevka cordon, the Usva river and the Oslyanka mountain. Guests of the reserve are offered interesting ecological tours, for example, a pedestrian, ski or bus excursion along the route "To the top of Northern Basake", as well as a walking tour "To the First South Stone". The Bassegha reserve is located 240 km from Perm and 60 km from Gremyachinsk. You can get to the reserve on your own, or on a car rented in Gremyachinsk. Passage to the territory of the reserve in his car is paid.
