On the site of the Annunciation (male) monastery from the 12th century there was a wooden Annunciation church, in which the relics of the princes Constantine, Michael and Fedor, who converted the population of Murom to Christianity, were kept. Karacharovo
Karacharovo is located about two kilometers south of the center of Murom. In this village, according to legend, Ilya Muromets was born.
