Responsible information department of the "Subtlety of Tourism"
St. Petersburg is not just a beautiful city with a lot of attractions, it is a major port that has access to the Baltic Sea through the Gulf of Finland. There are several ports here: the Big Port of St. Petersburg (10 Gapsalskaya Street), the Sea Port (Mezhevaya Canal, 5), the Sea Terminal (Vasilievsky Island, Marine Glory Square, 1), the timber trade (Gladky Island, 1), the ports of the suburbs Lomonosov, Vyborg, etc.) and inland moorages.
The Big Port of St. Petersburg performs the functions of a cargo port (Seaport on the Mezhve Canal) and the passenger Maritime Station. From the terminals of the last ferries and cruise ships depart to Helsinki, Stockholm, Tallinn. Registration for ferries is taking place at the new berthing complex "Marine Facade."
There are also river ports, for example, River Station (Obukhovskoy Oborony Avenue, 195). From there, motor ships go to Solovki, Kizhi, Valaam, as well as to Moscow and some other Russian cities.
