RZD has announced plans to organize a reliable and from no one independent railway communication between major Russian cities and resorts of the Krasnodar Territory Transport Minister of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov said that a new railway will be built to the south of Russia bypassing Ukraine.

At the same time, regardless of the relationship with the neighboring country, since repeated crossing of the border when following trains significantly increases the duration of the road. It is assumed that the construction of a new railway will start already in 2015 and will cost about 55 billion RUB. The construction of the new canvas will take a maximum of 3 years

Recall that at present most of the trains to the south of Russia on the way twice cross the border of Russia and Ukraine.
