What kind of trips and excursions from the city of Druskininkai can be done independently (or organized) in Lithuania or other closely located countries, including European countries?

Responsible information department of the "Tourism Subtlety"
Druskininkai is a resort town in the very south of Lithuania, not far from the Polish and Belarusian borders, about 120 km from Vilnius and Kaunas. This is the largest balneological resort in Lithuania.

Its good location allows you to alternate treatment and rest with one-day excursions to old Lithuanian cities - Vilnius, Kaunas, Trakai. So the road to Vilnius by bus takes about two hours. The route to Kaunas takes about 2, 5 hours, and also buses to Palanga, Panevezys and Siauliai from Druskininkai follow.

On organized tours, specify in the sanatorium or the hotel where you stay and at the tourist office, or set off on your own, taking sightseeing tours on site. Traveling to other countries will be convenient already from Vilnius
