Are there excursions to Petra and Wadi Rum from hotels on the Dead Sea in Jordan?
Responds to Information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
Many Jordan hotels have a tour desk where you can book a tour not only to Petra or Wadi Rum, but also to other wonderful places. If there is no desire to contact the hotel's bureau (or the cost of excursions in them does not suit you), you can contact the third-party tourist offices, which are many here. Competing with hotel travel agencies, they tend to set prices lower.
In addition to Petra and Wadi Rama, you can visit Makavir (the place where the head of John the Baptist was cut off), mineral and sulfur springs in which Herod the Great once bathed. And also the cave of Lot, the olive groves, the city of the columns of Jeyrash, other cities of the Roman Decapolis Madambu, which has a built-in map of the Middle East (it was created during the time of the Emperor Justinian), "The City of Mosaics", and many other wonderful places.
