From Tokyo to Hiroshima you can get by train JR Tokaido / Sanyo Shinkansen (there is a direct train for 4 hours, and the train with transfer at Osaka station goes 5 hours, the ticket price is about 170 US dollars per person.)

Also available from Kyoto, the train goes 2 hours
