Tell me, please, are there any excursions to the temples of Rome? I want to see the frescoes, paintings, sculptures of Da Vinci, Tiepolo ...
Answer by Nadezhda Petrenko, head of the department of Italy, UK, Ireland of Russian Express
There are more than 900 temples, basilicas and churches in the capital of Italy, of which about a third deserves a visit. Most of the temples are in the historic center of Rome. In addition to the world-famous St. Peter's Cathedral, the main temples, the so-called patriarchal basilicas, include the cathedrals of San Paolo Fuori le Mura, St. John Lateran and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. More information about the temples can be found on the page devoted to the sights of Rome
Excursions to the cathedrals and temples of Rome are offered, but, as a rule, they are all individual.
