"Pizzafast" - the famous Italian festival dedicated to pizza and held every year around mid-September. He invariably gathers residents not only of Italy, but also of many other countries. Numerous public and private Italian and various foreign pizza parlors regularly participate in it.

In 1984, it was opened, then it was held several times without a system, and from 1997 it became regular and received a modern name. At different times Pizzafast was held in different cities: Montreal, Brussels, Kawasaki (Japan), Hamburg and Monterrey (Mexico).

The festival program also includes various musical performances, recreational activities, and a variety of master classes.

In 2013, PizzaFest took place in Naples from September 12 to 23.
