The airport of Macedonia is located near the Greek city of Thessaloniki. Until 1993, the airport had a different name, which was replaced in favor of the name of the historic area in which it is located. The International Airport of Thessaloniki has now become exclusively civilian, although during the Second World War it was used only as a military airfield.

The airport serves international and domestic flights. How to get here

The main transport to the city of Thessaloniki is a bus leaving directly from the airport building. The interval of its movement is 1 hour, the journey time is 45 minutes.
