In September, we plan a trip to France from 2 weeks to a month, with children (3 months, 1, 9, 3, 5 years). We can not decide on the resort (rest on the coast). We consider 2 variants of travel:
1. Holidays in the Languedoc-Roussillon region (flight Moscow-Toulouse).

2. We are considering the option of direct flight by the Moscow-Marseilles route, so as not to bother the children.

Could you please advise us on places to rest with children:

1. In the Languedoc-Roussillon region?

2. Close to Marseille. Both in the direction of Languedoc (preferably) and towards the Cote d'Azur.

The transfer is ready, but not very long (1 hour maximum). Juan-les-Pins liked the description of the infrastructure for children, but to travel from Marseille to him is far from our view.

We do not really need to live in well-known resorts, but preferably in villages with local residents (but with developed infrastructure).

September is a great time to relax in France. The weather is excellent, and the prices for the resorts are lower than in July and August.

For questions:

1. There is no direct flight from Moscow to Toulouse. Only with a transfer through Paris, or a trip from Paris to Toulouse

90 km from Toulouse is the famous city of Carcassonne. The city itself is simply wonderful, very beautiful and unique in terms of history. At 7 km from the city there is a park and a beautiful lake of Cavaire (Lac de la Cavayere). There are sandy beaches, fishing, horseback riding, water sports, and volleyball courts. Ideal place for a picnic, rest on the lake and in the park. If you visit Carcassonne, do not forget to rest on Lake Cavaire.

2. Not far from Spain there is a wonderful place - Colliure.

3. The resorts of Sete and Cap D'Agde are interesting and informative places with a history. It is only necessary to consider that these resorts are popular with nudists. There are a lot of nudist beaches here.

4. You can also consider for recreation the resort town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in the territory of the Camargue reserve. There are also interesting 4 * hotels: Le Mas de Cocagne, Mas de la Fouque.

5. In the area of Marseille (and this is Provence) there are such resorts as Cassis (an interesting hotel in Cassis - Chateau de Cassis) and Bandol (fine hotel in Bandol - Ile Rousse Thalazur 5 *).

6. Juan-les-Pins is a great place to relax. Including with children. It is interesting to visit the park "Marineland" in Antibes! And then you need to fly to Nice, from Nice to Juan-les-Pins very close.

Interesting travel to France!
