Les Machines de l'Ile ("The Island of Machines") is an amazing amusement park that is located in the French city of Nantes, according to Culturology. Its creators were French decorators Francois Dalarozier and Pierre Orefis, who decided to implement the ideas of Leonardo da Vinci and Jules Verne.
What can you see in this fantastic park? First of all, the "Steam House", which is a 12-meter mechanical elephant, on the back of which anyone can ride. Also a great interest for tourists is represented by a huge "Carousel of the sea worlds", containing up to 300 people, and a fantastic "Gallery of Machines", in which "The Tree of Herons" is especially worthy of note.

The park operates in autumn and winter 5-6 days a week (day off, usually Monday), from about 10 to 18. In the summer - every day. The cost of the visit is 8 EUR, pupils and students 6, 5 EUR, children under 4 years old are free.
