The Varazdin region decided its rich gastronomic offer and a legacy for tourists to present in a new way - through the project "Traditional Cuisine Roads". This is a project, according to which tourists can enjoy not only the specialties of the Varazdin region, but also participate in their preparation in 11 agricultural estates. This project helps not only to improve the tourist offer, but also to unite the producers of traditional products.

Some products that are produced in the Varazdin region are protected, for example, such as Varaždin green, small corn cobs, honey, honey house vodka, pumpkin oil and Much more ... Until the end of the year, the estate participating in the project will receive informational plaques with their data, a designation on the map and interesting stories describing products that are somehow or other The estate produces . . Within the framework of the project, a catalog of traditional products and their producers has been created in Croatian and English languages ​​with a map, which also identifies all the producers . The plans to open an online store through which all interested but living far away can buy all the traditional products of the Varaždin region .

Besides the presentation of traditional cuisine and high quality products, one of the project's goals is to push agricultural estates that have not yet been produced hav e-protected products, to participate in the certification project and unique advertising agricultural products. It is planned to unite the "Traditional Cuisine Roads" with the existing "Wine Roads" of the Varaždin Region in the near future.
