Dalian is a seaside resort located in the southern part of the Liaodong Peninsula on the shore of the Yellow Sea. The city is struck by the abundance of greenery and flowers - it seems as if you can not pass here five meters without encountering a park or at least a couple of flower beds.

Territories not occupied by flowering plants are reserved for beaches. There are five of them in the city, the best of them is the beach "Shell" with sand and pebble beach. But the beach "Frozen wave" to visit without much need is not worth it - walking on a large pebble is not too pleasant, and the proximity to the port does not add to its appeal. In addition, around the city there are as many as three water parks. The most popular of them is located 50 kilometers from the center, not far from the road to Port Arthur.

In addition to a quiet beach holiday, Dalian can also get acquainted with the wildlife literally from all sides. For this purpose, there is a zoo, the Bird Park, the Polar Oceanarium, the crocodile and seal cattery, and the tropical fish aquarium.

And you can travel here not only by trams, trolleybuses and buses, as in other Chinese cities, but also with three cable lines roads - from the Polar Oceanarium to the Bird Park, from the beach "Rakushka" to the viewport and from the Park of Labor to the TV Tower

Dalian has a wide range of restaurants of different price categories. Among them, especially popular are seafood restaurants, a network of "Peking Duck" establishments and pelmeni. One restaurant is also on the television tower - an excellent place to view from the height of the whole city, enjoying a delicious lunch.

Dalian has the largest square in Asia - this is the Xinghai Square. It houses the Expocenter, a building stylized as an old castle, a beautiful fountain and a calendar calendar. The southern side of the square is adjacent to the sea, and next to it is a monument dedicated to the Dalian First Builders. At weekends, balloons are often launched and hang-gliders are flying.
