Burgas is a resort town, seaside resort; and, probably, very few people will come to mind to look for here some outstanding attractions. Why, when right in the city there is a great Central beach with a width of 100 m? A little further away begins a many kilometers of seaside park, where in summer they organize a large-scale festival of sand sculptures and various entertainment events. The northern beaches of Bourgas are also quite worth seeing.

However, lovers of nature still need to tear themselves away from the sea for the sake of Burgas lakes. There are three of them, and all are very close to the city: Burgas (Lake Vaja), Atanasovskoye and Mandren (Lake Mandra). These lakes are unique in that the largest on the continent path of migration of migratory birds from Europe to Africa passes through them. The area between the lakes and the sea shore is declared a national reserve of Pod, and in the appropriate season, you can see tens of thousands of birds here.

Bourgas is pretty nice and just to walk. The central pedestrian street, Aleksandrovskaya, is full of greenery and a cafe. There is also a very photographed city monument depicting a holiday suitcase made of bronze, from which sea shells are poured.

Another curious route for those who "stayed" in the city - a trip to the island of St. Anastasia, fanned with romantic stories about pirates, treasures, underground passages and fugitive political prisoners-communists. Having visited the island, for example, in the afternoon, closer to the evening you can go on a merry holiday with wine and dancing in the traditional village of Bath.

In the very Burgas there are several museums, although all of them, from the Historical Museum to the Art Gallery, are exclusively devoted to Bulgaria. The regional museum of Bourgas consists of four subsections: historical, natural, ethnographic and archaeological. Each museum occupies its own building, but all of them are located not far from each other, so it's convenient to inspect them in turn.

Regarding special architectural beauties, Burgas can be pleased, first of all, with two beautiful churches - the truth, the state in which they are now, is not very pleasing. This is the Cathedral of Cyril and Methodius and a small Armenian church. Both churches are more than 100 years old.
