Schladming trails
The four main Schladming peaks are connected by lifts. They can be reached by gondola from the city center or on the lifts, the lower stations of which are located in the valley (the bus goes there). Small open areas are only in the upper part of the slopes, mostly the same slopes are wooded, northern exposure. Most of the trails pass through them.
Main ski area - Planai (1894 m), centrally located slope. Above, the "red" track for downhill, at the bottom is already "black", for professionals. "Red" route is convenient because it ends right in the village, but it is more loaded. There is not a single "blue" route leading up to the bottom: beginners have to either descend on the lift, or try their hand at once on the "red" track. "Blue" riding here either between the lower and landing stations of the chair lift or in the area of the bugles
Hauser Kaibling (2015 m), known for its wide and sunny slopes, two cab lifts rise from the valley.
The Hochwurzen zone (1850 m) is inconvenient because two transplants will have to be made to climb upwards, but there is an excellent illuminated route.
In Reiteralm (1860 m) a "black" route starts from above, which further merges with the "red". This area is wide and well-groomed, although in the daytime on the "red" segment of people is clearly in excess. There are no "blue" trails in this skiing area. Galsterbergalm (1986 m) is not connected by lifts to the rest of the main zones. Skating here is exceptionally "red", and there is also a sector for skating on virgin soil.
In Ramsau am Dachstein (1200 m) there are beautiful descents for beginners, and also three special sled tracks. The disadvantage is only rope tows.

Snowboard in Schladming
There are also a lot of opportunities for snowboarding in Schladming: the halfpipe at Galsterbergbahnlift, a fan park with trampolines and a freeride and boarder race track in Hauser Kaibling, a training track on the slope of Hochwurzen.
