Together, they form a single architectural complex, which includes three more buildings: the presidential palace, which is still used in this capacity, the wooden house of Ho Chi Minh on stilts and an old pagoda on one pillar (which has nothing to do with Ho Chi Minh, but must be examined due to its beauty and antiquity.)

Today, you can see a lot of ancient buildings distributed between the five courtyards, as well as historical stele of doctors with ancient engravings.
By the way, about the lakes: they play the role of full sights in Hanoi. The city has a lot of water and a lot of water. The already mentioned great West Lake is a favorite place for resting Hanoi and tourists. On its banks are walking areas and bicycle paths, cafes and restaurants. The Lake of the Returned Sword is much smaller, but much more sacred: a beautiful ancient legend is associated with it.
