Broadway is one of the most unusual streets in the world. In a sense, its founders are Algonquin Indians, who paved their way through the dense forests of Manhattan from the south to the north of the island, which was transformed into the "Broad Road". Since then, the street has its own direction, which was not able to change even the well-organized and orderly construction of the most prestigious area of New York at the dawn of the 19th century.
Broadway stretches for more than 25 kilometers, crossing virtually all areas and twelve avenues of Manhattan . There's more than one day to go from street to street, but it's worth it, you'll make the most fascinating excursion into history, into the world of fashion, luxury, bohemians, business people and state men . Broadway appears in the completely different guilty the new historical epoch opens, every local attraction can fully tell about the history of the development of the city of the Big Apple and the States in general .

It is best to start the journey from the south. Going out to the terminal station of the metro, as if you were in the century before last, the sight of low houses in colonial style, one of the oldest Manhattan squares, rivet the eyes. And the main attraction on this stretch of Broadway is the "Museum of American Indians", which is located in a beautiful building once owned by US Customs.
Moving slightly to the north, you will find yourself in the center of the city, there are huge skyscrapers, most of which were erected in the beginning of the last century
And in the skyscrapers are the central offices of the largest companies, finance O facilities, and it is here Stock Exchange and the memorial complex on the site of the famous twin towers. Among all this stands out the majestic Holy Trinity Cathedral, formerly once higher than all buildings in Manhattan and serving as a reference point for ships, as well as the building of Woolworth - a skyscraper built in the likeness of European cathedrals.
Behind the business area follows "administrative", attracts attention here the building of the City Hall and the ancient St. Paul's Church, which has been functioning for more than three centuries.
