Liberty attracts attention - the building looks like a medieval one. In fact, it's only the 19th century, but it's impressive. And in general it's a well-known store.
Business "Liberty" was founded in 1875, Liberty is the surname of the founder. Initially, he sold objects of decor and art of Japan and the East, then - from around the world.
The building is a separate landmark. It was built in the 1920s, and in that era in architecture, the Tudor style was in fashion. Therefore, the department store looks like this: dark beams and plaster between them, the way they built in the 16th century. Beams are taken from decommissioned ships. Under this decor the design is now quite modern, but it looks peculiar. The building, by the way, is included in the British National Heritage Sheet.
The store is well suited for those who like clothes "at the height of fashion" - with innovation. But also Liberty sells many classic models from the best European and British manufacturers. The quality of all goods is very high, the prices are the same.
Also, "Liberty" is considered one of the best sellers of design items - if you want a unique vase or, for example, original prints on the walls, then this store will do the best.
