The London Eye is a Ferris wheel, built in the capital of England for the celebration of the millennium. The second name of this attraction is the "Wheel of the Millennium".
By the time of construction, the London Eye was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. Its height is 135 meters from the base. Later, the London Eye gave way to a similar attraction in Singapore. It is also planned to build several even higher attractions.

Nevertheless, the "London Eye" will forever remain one of the highest wheels - this it does not take away!
"Eye" has 32 transparent capsule-cabins, each of which accommodates up to 25 people. At the same time, 800 people can ride at the attraction. And for a year, his man-turnover is already more than 3, 5 million people! In the space booths you can order champagne and strawberries, if you want - go for a ride in the Cupid Capsule for two (+ waiter).
The wheel rotates completely in 30 minutes. Therefore, all the people sitting in the cabins, have time to enjoy the wonderful view of London, literally from a bird's eye view. The wheel never stops for loading / unloading passengers. They say that in clear weather from the top of the London Eye, even Windsor (to which, for a minute, an hour's drive) can be seen.

I want to share my emotions and experience visiting the most important entertainment attraction in London - London eye! In London, I got through my school with in-depth study of English, which arranged us a tour to England, in order to improve the knowledge of English. Of course, we did not miss the opportunity to ride a double-decker bus, dubbedek, it's just something on the second floor wobbles, like on a roller coaster! It's a pity we do not have such. The bus drove us to Big Ben and on foot we reached the London ... Read full review

London was remembered by the high prices, people hurrying about their business, order and London eye! I have not seen such a tall Ferris wheel yet! In addition to height, the wheel has an unusual shape - all booths are elongated in the shape of an oval and covered with glass. On the London Eye you climb very high, so for safety reasons the cabins are closed. Inside there are even benches for those who want to sit, the booths are spacious, but people are run there a lot and not everyone has enough room for good photographs .... Read the entire review

So far we have only managed to see London with our own eyes, but I'm already looking forward to the next trip! It turned out that on the famous and stunning Ferris wheel, we and my beloved never rode. When we arrived on the metro to the center, and then reached the London Eye, it was already 2 pm, and we met a huge queue. I do not know with what it was connected, maybe we arrived in the midst for tourists or there are always such lines. So we looked at the Ferris wheel from all ... Read the whole review

large Ferris wheel February 05, 2014
In London, one of the most basic and popular attractions from recent times is the London Eye. This is a huge Ferris wheel that allows you to look at the whole city, the River Thames, Big Ben from a height. Everyone who has arrived in the capital of Great Britain wants to visit the attraction. In this regard, the queue for the London Eye is very long. It is best to arrive early in the morning, while everyone is still sleeping, then there is a chance to avoid the queue. Visiting the London Eye costs about 20-25 pounds. The price, of course, is ... Read full review

In London, there is a wonderful sight - a Ferris wheel called London eye, in translation into Russian - the London Eye. I think the name means that from the top of the attraction you can see the whole of London and you can see it with your own eyes. I heard about the London Eye, and, having flown to London, I went first to look for the Ferris wheel.
Arriving at Piccadilly Circus, I saw the London eye - this is a tall structure with large and closed oval-type booths. Cabins - transparent, ... Read full review

The first walk around London was for me the most memorable. Around the classical English language, nice people in a coat, the architecture stopped breathing. But there was another side to London that hit me. Firstly, it started to rain, and we got a little wet. And secondly, the prices surprised me a lot. In my pocket, I had 40 pounds, and it seemed that more than enough money. A friend dragged me to the biggest Ferris wheel in my life - London eye! The ticket for the wheel cost 25 pounds, ... London Eye
Everyone dreams of visiting a country, my dream was England. When I had an opportunity to see London, I did not doubt for a second. The first landmark I saw was the Ferris wheel - the London Eye.
I recommend visiting such items on a weekday, as I did. The people were rather small, the queue moved quickly and there was no regret about the unbilled tickets in advance on the Internet. The staff is very polite, all visitors have observed ... Read the whole review
