Hello.I have this situation .I am a Russian citizen .Arrived on the territory of Ukraine on August 25, 2010 .On day 33, I was detained by police officers, to check documents, and immediately demanded to go to the department .A search was conducted, 10 numbers were e-mailed from the mobile phone .Explain that in the migration card I had to write down the address where I will live .They gave me a piece of paper (I do not understand in Ukrainian) that I live without registration and this is a violation of the law .Sent to the court, without having anything .It was on the 28th and told me to go to court on October 1 .I beg you, tell me how to continue to be? And how much were they right?

The procedure for mutual travel of citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation is governed by the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on visa-free travel of citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation of January 16, 1997 (as amended on October 30, 2004).

In accordance with the Agreement, citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation can enter, leave and move through the territory, respectively, of the Russian Federation and Ukraine without visas in compliance with the rules of stay in force in that country.

Citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation are exempted from registration in the competent authorities at their place of residence in the territory of the Russian Federation and Ukraine respectively, if the period of such stay does not exceed 90 days from the moment of entry into the territory of that state, if they have a migration card with a mark of bodies border control established at the entrance to the territory of the receiving State.
