Dragobrat is the highest mountain ski resort in Ukraine, located at an altitude of 1400 m at the junction of two natural zones - coniferous forests and alpine meadows, at the foot of Stog mountain (1707 m) and the Blyznytsa mountain range (1883 m).
Over the past 30 years, Dragobrat has never recorded a lack of snow, even in the warmest years. Due to this, as well as the fact that the prices here are lower than the average Carpathian, this place is becoming more popular not only among Ukrainian and Russian skiers, but also among fans of mountain skiing from Eastern Europe, despite its remoteness and inaccessibility.
How to get to Dragobrat
To get to Dragobrat is a whole adventure, to which - quite seriously! - You need to carefully prepare. The nearest airports and railway stations are in Ivano-Frankivsk (120 km), Lviv and Chernivtsi. The last major settlement on the road to Dragobrat in any case will be Ivano-Frankivsk, so it is worthwhile to rely on it, regardless of the type of transport chosen.
It is expedient for Russian citizens to get to Kiev first, and then to choose the optimal route .If you came to Kiev by train or flew by plane, you should first get to Ivano-Frankivsk by train or shuttle bus, then in Ivano-Frankivsk take a regular bus (the cheapest option, but not suitable if you carry a lot of equipment) or an ordinary taxi to Yasinya village .If you want to get to the resort on your own or rented car, then there are two routes - at 650 and 720 km, both can be viewed on the Internet .
When you got to Yasinya, there was the last leap to the finish. To get to Dragobrat, you need transport of high terrain.
For those who came by train or bus, as well as for reasonably doubting drivers in the center, there is a local taxi stand that takes tourists from the foot of the mountain to the very top, to Dragobrat.
Accommodation
For accommodation Dragobrat offers a 6-storey hotel and several two-story cottages. In total, the complex can accommodate 116 people at a time, with additional places - 140.
The number of rooms in the resort includes 2-, 3- and 4-bed rooms in the hotel and 2 and 3-bed rooms in the cottages. All of them are equipped with a bathroom, a shower, everywhere there is hot water and satellite TV. There are also rooms for storage and drying of sports equipment.
It should be borne in mind that "cottages" are hotels in miniature, each consists of 8 rooms, and no "secluded rest" room in the cottage (with a noticeable difference in prices for hotel and cottage numbers) does not.

The "horseshoe-shaped" location of the mountains provides a stable natural snow cover from November to May. In case the weather does not work, the resort has snow cannons and other snow-packing equipment, and its owners guarantee that fans of winter sports will not be disappointed.
Trails Dragobrata
The resort has four ski slopes - three "red" complexities and one "blue", with a total length of 10 km. The main lifts of Dragobrat are on the slopes of Mount Stog. The longest route is called "Stoch", its length is 1300 m, the height difference is 410 m.
With the help of a snowmobile, the so-called. Free ride-tours - skiers and snowboarders are taken to the upper slopes, which allows to increase the length of descents to three or more kilometers. Fans of the "ski-extreme" helicopter takes to the mountain slopes with virgin snow, where the length of the descent reaches 5 km.
The resort has a stadium for freestyle (ski acrobatics, mogul, ballet). Also there is a rental of equipment, it is possible to hire a ski and snowboard instructor.
Entertainment, excursions and attractions Dragobrata
On the territory of the complex there is a ski school - group and individual training on express courses will allow you to quickly master skiing or snowboarding and not "tie" yourself to the instructor for the whole vacation.
In addition to the already mentioned free ride tours, excursions to the mountain peaks are carried out for those who are not yet very confident in their skiing skills. You will see an unparalleled panorama, before you will see a view of the highest mountains of Ukraine - Hoverla (2061m), Petros (2020m), and the guide will tell you about the amazing legends associated with these peaks. As in the palm of your hand, the Chornogor and Gorgana ranges, the slopes of the Chivchinsky mountains and what is so unique in this place will open - the combination of alpine meadows and the Carpathian forest.
On the territory of the complex there are restaurants, a billiard bar, a café-site "Kuryatnia" near the lift, where you can drink the main ski drink - hot mulled wine, as well as a snack, Hutsul national cafe "kolyba". There is a sauna, where there is a pool with ice spring water and where you can order food and drinks from the restaurant.
