Responds to Information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
East - a delicate matter in all respects. And even more so the oriental bazaar, original and attractive. For example, the Turkish bazaar in Antalya works once a week in different parts of the city. To visit it, you need to know the "timetable."

  • Monday: The open market in the Etiler neighborhood behind the Mevlana restaurant;
  • Tuesday: Open market in Suksu in md. Bayindyr and the indoor market Lyman in mdn. Khurma (Konyaalti);
  • Wednesday: The indoor market in md. Yeshilbache (Lara);
  • Thursday: Open markets in microd. Yildiz (Prospect Centennia), md. Shirinyaly - Lara (between Ismet Gokshan and Kardzhami streets) and in mkrn. Meltem
  • Friday: The indoor market in md. Gyuzeloba - Lara (near the Medline hospital) and Muratpaşa open market in the center, near the Muratpaşa mosque;
  • Saturday: Antalya's largest open Saturday market is Dedeman-Lara's indoor market (behind the Dedeman Park hotel) and the open market of Shirinyaly-Lara (near the Laura shopping center);
  • Sunday: Covered markets Caglayan - Lara (Barynaklar Boulevards) and Pynarbashy - Konyaalti (behind the regional health department).

Separate mention deserves the Saturday market in Shirinyaly micro-district, which is considered the best and largest in Antalya. The locals call it "sosyete pazar", a secular bazaar. There are always a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, fish and Turkish sweets, as well as a large selection of textiles at very attractive prices.
