When does the rainy season begin and end in Thailand? How does this look like?
The rainy season in Thailand is quite a misnomer. Since it seems to many that since the "rainy season" has been called, it means that it will be watered 24 hours a day. In fact, the rains are very short.
Thailand is a year-round destination, resorts and hotels are always waiting for guests, warm sea and snow-white sand, everything that is necessary for a first-class holiday!
In the guidebooks and reference books, the period "May-October" is designated as the rainy season. This always serves as a negative factor when choosing a holiday in Thailand. Yes, during this period, humidity rises and short-term rains come. But, believe me, this does not in the least interfere with rest, bathing and sunbathing. Rains are usually at night or early in the morning, by the time the sun warms the sand and the sea well.
The territory of Thailand is large and the so-called "rainy season" is everywhere at different times: Pattaya - half of August and early September ; Phuket - August, September; Koh Samui - from mid-November to mid-December, Koh Chang - June and July. During these periods, the greatest amount of precipitation falls. But, do not forget that this phenomenon depends on the cyclone, and the rain may not be at all. ±$ In summer, the holiday in Thailand does not differ much from the rest in winter. A variety of tropical fruits and fresh seafood, cozy restaurants on the beach, entertainment bars and discos, massage parlors and souvenir shops - all this is hospitably waiting for tourists on vacation! And the cost for all the entertainment, excursions, hotel accommodation, is significantly reduced! In any institution you get the most attention, you become the most expensive guest at the resort. Agree, it sounds tempting!
Do not forget, summer offers special offers for accommodation in many hotels, as well as transfers and excursions.
