Is a vacation in Switzerland suitable for pensioners?

Responds information department of "Tourism subtleties"
Not all pensioners prefer to rest on the beds of their native dacha. The number of elderly people who want and, most importantly, can afford to travel is growing. Switzerland is quite suitable for these purposes.

The flight to it is short, if desired, can be reached by train. The climate of this country is suitable for almost everyone, there are almost no contra-indications on it (unless it is not high to climb mountains), unlike Egypt or Thailand. At the same time, Switzerland is not such an expensive country as it seems to our compatriots. True, and not so full of famous sights, like France, Spain or Italy. But this is also a kind of plus: it's very quiet here.

Pensioners can slowly explore the castles and museums, spend time in one of the thermal resorts or even go to the ski resort - there are also newcomers to this sport. And from autumn to march (excluding Christmas and New Year holidays) in many hotels and mountain cottages elderly people of a certain age category are given significant discounts for accommodation and excursions.
