How to get to Colombo
Colombo International Airport is located 35 km from the city and accepts flights from around the world. You can get to the city center by "hotel taxi" (hotel taxi, 2800 LKR to the fort) or minivan-taxi (less comfortable, cheaper). The cheapest way is by bus number 187, which comes from the airport bus stop (free shuttle or 10-15 minutes walk from the airport building) to Fort Colombo.
