One of the main attractions of the Canary Islands and the symbol of the city of Tenerife is rightly considered the Auditorio de Tenerife. Unique is the building, designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, in the form of a wave. Inside the building is divided into several halls: a symphony, a chamber hall, a hall and a port gallery. In the halls of this unusual place there are concerts of chamber music, opera performances and dance shows.
No less interesting will be visiting the pyramids. Not only in Egypt you can see this miracle of the world, but also on the island. In the city of Guimar, in the south of Tenerife, there are six stepped pyramids, unwittingly created by local farmers. Digging up the ground, they, stumbling upon the stones, piled them together. This practice was very popular on the island, but most of such wonderful buildings were demolished by residents from the alleged uselessness.
Be sure to visit the Pueblo Chico miniatures park. This fabulous place covers an area of 20 thousand square meters, which presents miniatures of the best architectural monuments of the Canary Islands and the most picturesque places of the island. The museum will be especially interesting for children: many miniatures are accompanied by original music, under which they move.
