The most popular ports of Spain: where do the tourist ships go from?

Almost every province of Spain has several cargo and passenger large and small ports. We list some of them. In Andalusia it is Almeria, Malaga, Marbella, Algeciras, Cadiz, Huelva, El Puerto de Santa Maria, the historic Bonanza in Sanlucar de Barramuda, the river port of Seville in Guadalquivir. Of the main ports of Asturias, there are Aviles and Gijon, in Cantabria-Santander, in the Basque Country-Bilbao and Pacheases.

The main ports of Catalonia are Barcelona and Tarragona, in Murcia Cartagena. In the province of Galicia, this category includes the ports of La Coruña (also A-Coruña), Vigo, Ferrol, Marín and Villagarcía de Arosa in the Pontevedra region. The most famous city-port of Valencia has the same name, the second most popular is Alicante. In addition to them, Castellón de la Plana, Denia, Sagunt can be properly distinguished.

The main ports of the Balearic Islands are Ibiza, Maon and Palma de Mallorca. On the Canaries, this is Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, Los Cristianos and Santa Cruz in Tenerife

Two more ports, Ceuta and Melilla, are cities of special subordination and do not belong to any province or group of islands.
