How to get to Ruza
Bus number 450 departs from the metro station. "Tushinskaya" daily, except for Sunday, at 08.50, estimated time on the way - 2 hours 10 minutes. Bus number 455 goes from there, through Zvenigorod.
You can take a train from Belorussky railway station (or Begovaya metro station) to Tuchkovo station, where a bus runs to Ruza (40 minutes).
By car to Ruse, you can drive from two sides: on the Minsk highway follow Dorokhovo, at the fork, turn right, or on the Novorizhskoe highway - to the signpost for Ruza (turn left).

Since its inception, Ruza was a powerful outpost of the Moscow principality .It stood not only on the border of four regions - Moscow, Tver, Novgorod and Smolensk principalities, but also on strategic waterways .Not surprisingly, her fortifications - Ruza Gorodok - did not know equals in the district .A reminder of this is the high (up to 40 meters) ramparts .At the beginning of the XX century in Gorodok a park was destroyed, the townspeople gave romantic names to the alleys: there is the Alley of Dating and Friendship Alley, a shady larch alley was named Alley of Sighs, and a pond in the center of the park was named Lake of Broken Heart .
Temples of Ruza
Pokrovskaya church with a four-tiered bell tower was built in stone at the end of the XVIII century. There are four altars in the temple, one of which is in the upper floor. In the 1930s, the church premises were given to the city hospital, and from the end of the 1980s until 2006, the local museum was located in the temple, which moved to its 100th anniversary in a separate building, after which worship services resumed.
The central church of the city is the snow-white temple of Dmitry Solunsky, its fate is similar to the history of the Intercession Church. But the main temple of Ruza in the past - the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ - has never been restored, and now its sports school is located in its premises.

The Arkhangelsk. Beautiful features, which are now visible in the guise of the estate, it has acquired thanks to its penultimate owner, the architect O. I. Bove. On the picturesque bank of Tarusa he planted a garden, built a house and one of his best creations - the temple of Michael the Archangel.
Bogorodskoye - the possession of DA Guriev, famous for his magnificent balls, where he treated his guests with an amazingly delicious porridge, which later received the nominal name "Guriev". The main building of the complex was destroyed in 1945, but the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God was preserved, the wing and a stable yard.
Volynshchino. Most of its history the estate belonged to the Dolgorukov family. The authorship of the palace complex, which has survived to this day, is attributed to such famous architects as VI Bazhenov and MF Kazakov.

Fishing and hunting
The Ruza district is an expanse for fishing and hunting enthusiasts. You can throw fishing rods and spinnings into the natural Glubokoe Lake (by the way, it is really the deepest in the Moscow region) and the Trostenskoye, as well as the reservoirs: the Ruza and Ozerninskoye. At the Ozerninskoye reservoir, competitions are held by fishermen, and on the basis of one of the boarding houses of the region, an old Russian tradition of falconry was recreated.
